Double Carriage House & Garage Information

A traditional open fronted Double Carriage House & Garage extension.

Carriage House entrance is constructed in oak with curved braces, morticed and tennoned and pegged in the time honoured way. Garage has a pair of side hung timber doors and partition. Partition is clad Carriage House side to eaves in weatherboard or shiplap and from eaves to ridge in vertical tgv.

Eaves height is 2.30m, entrance size is 2.15m high x 2.47m (if 5.4m long) or 2.77m (if 6.0m long) , garage door aperture is 2.135m wide x 1.98m high and roof covering is grey mineralised felt.

Sawn weatherboard or planed shiplap may be specified.

A Double Carriage House & Garage may be modified to accept conventional tiles or slates.
