Welcome to Carriagehouses.co.uk.

We are the online trading division of Passmores Portable Buildings Ltd established in 1909 which makes us one of the oldest timber buildings manufacturers in the UK.

We are certified under the FSC (Forestry Stewardship Council) chain of custody scheme so you can be assured of our green credentials.

You can purchase a wide range of Carriage Houses, and ancillary buildings online from this site.

We offer single bay and double bay Carriage Houses. A workshop or garage can be added to the left or right hand end of a Carriage House thus enabling you to design a building specifically meeting your own particular requirements.

You can choose between a 22.5° boarded and felted roof or a 35° pitch trussed rafter roof to suit most makes of conventional slate, interlocking tile or plain tile. Our price is for the timber superstructure hence slates or tiles are not included.

Our Carriage Houses are supplied with traditional morticed, tennoned and pegged oak entrance frames and you can choose between planed shiplap or sawn weatherboard wall cladding. Both claddings are cut from quality Scandinavian redwood and come pressure preservative treated.

All our buildings are supplied as fully prefabricated kits of components for self assembly. We offer a delivery service throughout mainland UK.

Most local contractors will be pleased to quote for erection of the timber frame as well as for laying the concrete foundation. We provide a baseworks drawing, detailed packing list, assembly instructions and spare materials with every building sold.
